rory 0 Posted July 10, 2005 couple passwords - local menu and the network:: ---------------------------------------------- MENU PASSWORD: page 14, A password can be set to prohibit unauthorized access to the menu systems. The default setting is Off. To set or change the menu password: 1. Use the cursor keys to change the User password to On. 2. When the new password menu is displayed use the camera key numbers to enter a password - up to eight numbers. 3. Press the menu key to enter the password. 4. When prompted re-enter the password to confirm and press the menu key when complete. WARNING: For security reasons, loss of passwords will require the unit to be returned for the passwords to be reset. -------------------------------------------- NETWORK PASSWORD: Run the PC Viewer, login as - admin, admin Click on Set up and you can change passwords and usernames there. ----------------------------------------------- Rory Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

qman 0 Posted July 11, 2005 Got to say that the client is very very unhappy with the peformance of the remote picture, the quality sucks big time. CSG 0 Posted July 14, 2005 If the picture quality is bad you may want to consider RMA'ing it back to DM. I've found some unit that have a sucky picture, i've sent it back and it improved. I have one unit i wasnt happy with picture quality , a Sprite 2 9channel, and now it got other issues as well so its back to DM. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
