tlavite 0 Posted June 15, 2011 Okay so I am working with the local housing authority to get there PTZ cams up and running (they keep loosing there programmed patterns.. actualy they slowly start to drift away from there programmed patterns and end up zomming into the wrong stuff) but anyway I am trying to log into them from home to see how they are acting and when I log into the cams from my browser (and i have tried like 5 computers) it brings up the controlls and where the cameras should be is a big white box with a red X. IE says there is an error on the page: Webpage error details User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0) Timestamp: Wed, 15 Jun 2011 22:34:47 UTC Message: Object doesn't support this property or method Line: 28 Char: 2 Code: 0 URI: http://XX.XXX.XX.XXX/webdvr.html (I deleted the IP for obvious reasons) Has anyone else had this problem? I have the actual remote client installed on my laptop but even with the correct information it just says failed to connect to DVR.

That error you get when using IE looks like an activeX problem. make sure you allow activeX installation the first time you connect to that Ip address. When using remote client, Check if ports are being forwarded properly at the dvr side
