Gmail/SMTP/SSL and ICatch / Rayvision 4ch

Hello I have a new ICatch / Rayvision X11 DVR 4CH and all fuctions work perfect including remote viewing from web or iPhone.

 

Except mail, I have both Gmail and ATT/Pacbell Yahoo mail -- I cant seem to get either to work

 

these are the only fields I have to fill out on the DVR software

SMTP:

Port:

User:

Password:

From:

to Mail:

 

Notice no authenication option or ssl option

 

For Gmail I set

 

smtp.gmail.com for smtp and tried port 465 and 587.

 

Is my DVR software too old or am I missing an option?

 

Is there an error log somwhere I can read?

FWIW 465 works on my system
