shumely 0 Posted June 21, 2011 (edited) My sister thinks the monitor is the computer and is ignorant? My sister is 16, totally clueless when it comes to computers. Shes on the desktop workspace right now and a website froze on her. She thinks if she turns off the computer monitor it fixes it. Also, if the computer is running slow she turns off the monitor and then turns it back on and claims it makes it run faster. _________________________ [mod edit: spam links removed. nice try] Edited June 23, 2011 by Guest
Soundy 1 Posted June 23, 2011 Some systems do have the computer and monitor all in one unit. iMacs have always been made this way. HP, Asus, and several others now make all-in-one units as well. Chances are, though, the computer IS a separate tower in this case... if so, turning the monitor on and off has no effect on it.

rory 0 Posted June 23, 2011 And they are normally over priced and under performers, with no expandability potential. The Acer all in ones come with i5's now, also no speed issues from the iMacs with Core 2 running raw XP That said, all expandability is via USB, and their DVD or Blueray drives are typically slow and problematic. And overpriced is an understatement, $1000+- for the ones with slow Atom CPUs

rory 0 Posted June 23, 2011 Just curious as to what the point of the original post was. Oh. ... it is spam LOL!! Check how they edited the signature .. Spam for money is a big thing in India now. Basically they get paid to post on forums and include signatures for websites, to aid in their ranking on the search engines like google.
