mana 0 Posted June 29, 2011 I am thinking of purchasing the above system from Eaby from a company in Honk Kong. There is no brand name, however the price seems to be resonable ($520). All the feedback suggests that the system is great. However reading through the forums it seems that I need to ask the question. Is this system all right to purchase for a domestic application, note I am just making sure that I purchase something that is suitable. Thanks for your help in advance. I have included the specs. Soundy 1 Posted June 29, 2011 The question is, "suitable for what"? If all you want is a fuzzy overview of activity in relatively small areas, this should be fine, but the lenses on these cameras don't have a very wide field of view. The specs as listed are extremely generic and not particularly meaningful - sounds like any number of dozens of other cheap generic systems.
rory 0 Posted June 29, 2011 No idea about the DVR but it says it only has IE Remote Access which is not good enough IMO. Also the cameras sound like complete rubbish, 1/4" 6mm SHARP ... thats something one should run from anytime they read it.
