Milestone Xprotect go exported clip quality

I've been playing with this software for a few weeks, and the exported clip seems to be not at all the quality of other software I've tried. Does not matter if an IP camera (e.g. Axis P3344) or converted analog camera (e.g. Axis 241S).

 

Is there a setting I'm missing?

 

I've tried a different codec option on the export and that helped somewhat but not entirely.

As a side note, this software works well on an Athlon quad core, runs at about 20% with 8 cameras. I upgraded my other computer to an I7 for my other software, which is just phenomenal.
