I bought a 250GB LCD DVR with 4 x Security Camera kit, I changed my password, but it forgot - how to get it back to factory settings?

Open up the DVR and inside there should be a button cell battery connected to the motherboard. Take that out and leave it out for a couple of hours and put it back in. That may or may not work but it just may.
