Avtech - DDNS

Recommended Posts

Hi, how are you?

I'm a reseller of Avtech products. I have some question, please anyone respond...

1. When I do network setting for remote viewing, I have to register at www.dyndns.com. To make an account on dyndns, I have to use an email. Could I use the same email for some dyndns account?

2. How many hostname could put into the same dyndns account?

3. Do you have another eagleeyes software for Android? Because I have a lot customer and the eagleeyes software for android only could fit 2 hostname? For blackberry and symbian, it could fit a lot of hostname.

4. When I do playback on DVR, could I zoom the playback/zooming for snapshot? I need to print the image from playback DVR. For geovision DVR card, they have zooming function for playback. But when I try to print the image, it's blurred.

Thank you very much

Hi,

AVTECH dvr cannot zoom on playback in local site, but they have playback zoom when using videoviewer (dvr control icon-digital zoom icon) . Eagleeyes for android is still a lite version, the full version will allow user to save more devices and also access to more functions. That version hasn't be released yet.

About the dyndns, i think you can use the same mail, but i don't know how many hostname you can put in the same account. (often i use the default server of AVTECH).

Dear Leo

Thank you for your reply.

Does it means that i don't have to register to dyndns.com?

Could you tell me the steps one by one please ?

There are 4 user level on KPD series DVR. Supervisor, power user, normal user and guest. What is the different between power user and normal user?

One more thing, I still not able to use digital zoom on video viewer. The button can't be pushed even in live or playback.

Thank you very much

Hi Lucha,

Power user and normal user often just have one difference: power user can backup, normal user cannot.

If you use the default server, there is no need to apply for a dyndns account. as you can see in the picture, avtech demo site has a very simple one

About the Dptz, need to check what is the model of the camera you are using

Did you enabled the ptz function, with the botton on the picture?

If you cannot solve it, describe the problem with more details.

Dear Sir

Thank you very much for your information.

By the way, I couldn't find avtech DVR and camera with K series on www.avtech.com.tw such as KPC 132, KPC 133 for cameras and KPD 674 KPD 679.

Thank you
