ViewLog GV SS v8.3 give green screen

I have a gv-600, and recording with h264 codec on v8.3.1 . The problem arises when I go to the ViewLog to show recorded video. Instead of images ViewLog gives green screen, but playback is proceeding normally. Is it possible codec problem or something other.

Hi crnagora,

 

Please first close all GV-applications

 

go to NVR/DVR directory (ie. c:\GV-1480X\GeoCodecReg)

 

Click on GeoCodecReg.exe

 

reboot the PC and try Viewlog again.

That is definitely a codec issue.
