SDM Group 0 Posted July 15, 2011 hello guys, Just left a client with a Keyscan setup that is getting misreads and locking people out. The reader seems ok as does the lock and cabling etc. Any ideas on what could cause this. Also how do you purge the panels, just in case it is corrupt data. jeromephone 6 Posted July 16, 2011 make sure you do a full upload to all panels and data. Make sure that it all takes. Check the group setup also we have had more problems with the customer moving people around in groups and getting things screwed up. take a card that is reading but not opening the door and then run a report if it says access denied check that cardholders status and group membership. Thanks Seems like a corrupted memory to me but it could also be interference from external. Purging the panel is done by shorting jumper J1 momentarily while panel is powered. Keyscan system VII will automatically re upload all settings or you can just upload manually. If it doesn't fix it you need to check your wires and look for any unnecessary voltage getting into the panel Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
