Help with Hard Drives for Videoswitch VDM-16

Hi all,

 

i have the 2 maxtor diamonmax 16 160gb ata hard drives from my Videoswitch VDM - 16 system. The system isnt usable at the moment but i need to take off some incidents from the hard drives so as to pass on to the police.

Ive tried taking the hard drives out of their casing and putting them into my hard drive caddy so as to connect them to my PC. However, the PC picks up that they are there, but i can not see them in the my computer screen and im not able to access them.

 

Anyone able to help?
