jsattmann 0 Posted June 21, 2012 Hi, I just had the same problem. With the TL you should have been provided a key to open up the Hard drive bay (Left front Side). Turn of the unit by unplugging it and then simply pull the drive straight out. You can replace the drive with SATA drive up to 4tb. Unfortunately if your old hard drive is truly dead, you will need to take it to a company like Best Buy and see if they can recover the data off the drive.
