fa chris 0 Posted September 1, 2011 If you look at http://www.pfsense.org/ they have links to vendors who sell appliances very similiar to an off the shelf router so you aren't using a full blown computer. Same size, look, and feel with massive power for a few hundred bucks. They usually work with smoothwall, monowall, etc. too. I normally use switches in cctv systems though. Electryko 0 Posted October 22, 2011 I recomment Draytek routers. Little more expensive but not as expensive as the industrial ones. Everything is in it, VPN, QoS, RAS, ACL, etc. My router is now up for 8 years and my previous Draytek is still running at a friends home. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
