Port Forwarding on Vivotek FD8134V

Recommended Posts

Hi, Just got a Vivotek FD8134V cam and can't seem to get the port forwarding to work. I keep getting the Error: Router does not support UPnP port forwarding. In the Vivotek network settings I'm using a fixed IP and assiagned a HTTP port number. What's the Vivotek secondary HTTP port entry for and can I leave it at 8080? I set up my 2wire router to open the assigned HTTP port for the IP address just like I did for my Axis and Panasonic cams which work fine. Is there somethig else I forgot to enable on Vivotek's settings?

Thanks..

Looks like your router does not support UPNP port forwarding so you will need to do it manually. Just forward the primary http port, RTSP port, rtp port and rtcp port.

This is odd becuase the Router does port forwarding fine on my Axis and Panasonic cams. I have outside remote access with those.
