Soundy 1 Posted August 15, 2011 Looks like the main difference is, the E model is slightly higher resolution, and half the low-light sensitivity of the D. Other than that, the specs look pretty much identical. Both appear to be low-end stuff, probably worth about $20.
slothbal1986 0 Posted August 15, 2011 Hi, thanks for the prompt reply. Can u advice on whether 0.1 lux is able Provide night vision? Also, such dome camera costs 68 bucks http://www.laksontech.com/home/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage-ask.tpl&product_id=253&category_id=4&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=
Soundy 1 Posted August 15, 2011 Even 0.05 lux is not very dark. You might get a good picture of someone directly under a street light at that. Based only on the specs, those cameras are overpriced at $68, IMO.
andy25i 0 Posted August 16, 2011 Both the cameras have almost identical features. The major difference is of resolution.
rory 0 Posted August 16, 2011 Both are junk, buy a megapixel IP camera and be done with it At least that seems to be the popular opinion of late. Far be it for me to not side with the popular crowd ok seriously ... One is high res and one is low res. The low res as always will see more under low light than the high res one. Hence the low res one being 0.05 lux and the high res one being 0.1 lux. Thats pretty much it. More than likely though the specs are rated at faceplate meaning 0.1 lux is 1 lux and 0.05 lux is 0.5 lux, though its hard to take any specs seriously these days - only way to know for sure is to buy it and test it or find someone that has used the camera before.
