rory 0 Posted August 16, 2011 I found it on the Cynics site, well a H3104 model, but no user manual. I dont know ... you already tried 000000 Is that the device ID in the DVR configuration? Maybe try 1111, or 111111 .... or admin for password. Check the ID in the DVR though to make sure that is correct.

paparaaaapa 0 Posted August 16, 2011 weird thing is that if i am using web based i can access it using password 123456, for normal viewing.
rory 0 Posted August 16, 2011 Make sure the correct port is forwarded for non web based viewing. This can sometime come back with login errors.
paparaaaapa 0 Posted August 16, 2011 Make sure the correct port is forwarded for non web based viewing. This can sometime come back with login errors. it is not the problem on accessing the web-based viewing in IE, the problem now is direct from the DVR itself and i cannot made in through to the main menu
rory 0 Posted August 16, 2011 Yeah but web based would likely use port 80, the desktop software would normally use another port.
paparaaaapa 0 Posted August 16, 2011 Yeah but web based would likely use port 80, the desktop software would normally use another port. but i did not use pc to access the player, i'm directly connect a monitor on the dvr and checking the dvr on the dvr system itself, will the port thingy affected on this too? rory 0 Posted August 16, 2011 no .. sorry I thought this was for remote video. So basically you dont have the local password to get into the configuration? Will have to wait for someone that knows that DVR then, or see if the manufacturer can help.
paparaaaapa 0 Posted August 16, 2011 it's weird that i can access the web-based using admin as password, but inside the menu on web-based i don't see any option i can adjust the time and date. duh...still no choice but need to access from DVR itself...
