connection error

hi, i recently had password issues so i did a reset to default settings on my DVR, now i will explain my set-up below but the problem is i keep getting the connection error from within video viewer software on my PC

 

any advice appreciated

 

my settings are:

 

AVTECH 4CH H.264 DVR

NETWORK SETTINGS:

DHCP I.P IS SAME RANGE AS PC

USING PORT 80

 

CONNECTED BY ETHERNET TO ROUTER

SHOWING CORRECT IN ROUTER SETTINGS DHCP SET AS KEEP SAME I.P ADDRESS

DEVICE SHOWING AS ACTIVE

hi im using o2 wireless box v3, im with o2 broadband.

 

 

you dont need to use DHCP. you will be best using another port number other than 80. use 5550 and direct your DVR ip address to that in your router.
