ovargas 0 Posted September 6, 2011 I have an old dvr 4ch, but I can't access via web browser and I don't have any software. It doesn't have any brand, I try to find it by the mac address "00:0a:a2". Does anybody know a generic client software to access it?? What else can I do?

higg 0 Posted September 7, 2011 Can you get an ip address? Use the osd menu on the dvr, try to find the version. Or any series of numbers, letters, or numbers/letters and Google them. Something should come up, and get you closer to the make and model. Otherwise, See if there is an option to reset network. That should give you a static ip. (174.658.0.75 example) Enter a port number(80 for example). It goes on the end of the ip. Like :80 Type in browser(explorer) address bar like this http://174.658.0.75:80 Windows should automatically download software.
