Avc760 (old ide) mail image wrong.

Recommended Posts

I have an AVTECH 760 with firmware release 2.0.1.0.

I noted a problem with email notification.

When cyclic image is set on dvr and a motion is detected, the mail is sent with current showing image and not with the image related to motion.

Example:

Image rotation is set on the monitor port with sequence camera #1 -- camera #2 - camera #....

The monitor is showing camera #1 and the motion event happen on camera #3

the mail is sent with correct header (Motion_3-trigger) but with the camera #1 image.

There is a firmware upgade that solve this problem ?

I found the release CPD5601_AVC7601_2030.rar.

Can i try tu put on my AVC760 ?

Thank's

Cico

updating old avtechs can give more problems. it might be worth just switching BNCs over on the back of dvr. and then just rename your cameras

Thank's for answer but is not a sequence probem!!

The dvr send the image currently displayed and not the image with motion.

Hi. have you had the dvr from new ????

screen names can be changed. it may say cam 1 on the screen but the BNC could be in cam 4 on DVR

so if you set alarms from cam 1 you are infact getting the alarms from cam 4

I try to explain the problem.

If you set the monitor port in quad mode you can see all the BNC input in the same TV frame as follows:

BNC1 | BNC2

-------------

BNC3 | BNC4

and if motion occours, the mail is sent with the quad images perfectly.

If you set the monitor port in sequence mode you can see only one of BNC input at time in the TV frame as fiollows

-> BNC1->delay->BNC2->delay->BNC3->delay->BNC4 ->delay->

|< -- - - - - - - < - - - - - - - - < -- - - - - - - - < - - - - -|

If motion occours on BNC2 the mail is sent not with the BNC2 image but with the image currently displayed from monitor.

The image attached in the mail is the image present on monitor port when the motion occours!!

Hi the way you see your monitor has nothing to do with your alert.

the monitor can be customised to how you want it.

from new cam1 cam2 cam3 cam4 ...... now if you change the cam 1 (rename) to cam4 this does not change the DVR software cam4 is still cam1
