I use CCTV to monitor my Solar Equipment, re;-Panels, Regulators and Batteries. I am also a Design Draftsman and need to know why I cannot get a CCTV camera to view an LED display. Can any boby help me? What do you mean by "can't view" ... do you mean that the LED display is just a big bright light and you can't distinguish the image or that you can't see anything. sgkelly 0 Posted September 14, 2011 After some discussion with a CCTV Tech Guru I found that the LED night vision system was the problem. Reflection of a "White Light" from any reflective surface, including the LED Screen can, and did, cause problems. I covered the Camera LED's with tape (while leaving the Camera Lens clear), and the display digits are now visible on my 7" Screen. Last night I use a simple LED Light Globe, still all going well.
