jisaac 0 Posted August 2, 2005 Well so i went out to our job site today and could not get the cameras to work. Also found out 2 more had gone out over the weekend that just happeaned to be right next to those other 2 .So I had my wire pullers just run new wire and they work perfect now. It took almost the whole day but hey they finally work. Who knows what the hell was wrong with that cable. Dont really want to put much more thought into it. Anyways have a good one Isaac
rory 0 Posted August 2, 2005 yeah we had to do that with even coax the other day but cause 2 of the wires were RG6 aluminum from a previous install, shiiit happens yah know! We used to find some telco wire for alarms, would get burnt up for whatever reason, lightning etc .. a few times we had to re run wire for that .. when i was doing alarms .. eMac52 0 Posted November 17, 2012 Depending on the camera type sometimes there is a power drop off at the termination of your cable run. Everything will check out on your test equipment but the camera is not getting enough power and wont broadcast.
