PoOoOoZ 0 Posted September 21, 2011 Hello, i have a AVC791ZA-A system (AVTECH 4CH H.264 DVR), and i have a big problem, the recording of the video don't work correctly. When i play the recorded videos, i have 5 seconds of video and 5 seconds of lag ! I have searched into the option but i don't found anything to help me. What can be the problem ? The HDD to much slow ? (500GB) The quality of the video too much high (i have tested to reduce quality but i have the same problem) I don't found firmware for my system, and it's hard to contact AVTECH. I don't found french forum for this kind of system. I hope somebody know this problem and can help me. Thank you very much.

PoOoOoZ 0 Posted September 22, 2011 Thank you for your reply. The live feed are working good, but not the "replay". I'm accessing to the recorded video directly with the AVTECH system, in a 17' monitor (VGA out). Same problem with 6fps at normal quality (the minimum) and CIF (minimum also) May be there are a program for play recorded video on my computer ? (Mac but i have an XP virtualisation)
PoOoOoZ 0 Posted September 23, 2011 Every 10-30 seconds, the recorded video jump approximatively 20 seconds.
tomcctv 190 Posted September 23, 2011 Every 10-30 seconds, the recorded video jump approximatively 20 seconds. Hi. this problem could just be a setting problem with your motion settings. just switch off motion record and run your system on constant for a few hours and see what your playback is like then. PoOoOoZ 0 Posted June 22, 2012 I have do the last firmware upgrade "1044-1015-1020-1017", and reformated the SATA HDD 500Go to FAT32 with Windows (after a Clean with DiskPart to remove the GPT partition). I have yet a jump in the recording (may be a little less). In ADVANCED CONFIG / DETECTION, the MOTION option is set to OFF. What can i do more ? Thank you.. PoOoOoZ 0 Posted June 27, 2012 I have two hypothesis about this problem. 1 / When I opened the DVR for the first time, I noticed that the hard disk was mounted upside down! Is this a problem? It has long time functioned in this way, and now even against the problem persists when mounted correctly. 2 / I tested a diagnosis with the diagnostic tool found on the website of WD and it does not pass the SMART test! Re-allocated Sector Count -> 96! It's a problem? I'll buy another SATA drive to test.
