Older Geovision 1450 (2005) card? 64bit?

Recommended Posts

Hello all!

So i recently won on eBay, an older genuine 1480 geovision (from 2005) card. I know its genuine bc i sent geovision photos of the card. Anyhow, i would like to run at D1 resolution @ 30 FPS on a 64bit PC (turbo mode) i guess?

From my understanding this won't work with 64 bit, ok no big deal reformat to 32.

Now im confused on to the D1 and 30fps.

I will be running 16 CNB DBM-24D (768x494) And would like 30 fps to see slight of hand movements, possible theft, high cash flow business.

Did i make the wrong move on this older card, let me know my options and your opinion.

geo will not tell you if the card is genuine or not just by a photo. only by ser number from card (has to be running) and software.

D1 30 fps on a card 8 years old. i think you have been given the spec of the 1480.

if it is a high cash flow business you will need to spend a little money on a good DVR of card (and not from ebay)

it used to be cheaper to build your own system but take alook at the dahua DVRs cheaper and working out of the box.

I already have a good computer to put the card in i7 processor, Asus motherboard, 6gb ram.

And i did mean 1480 card, what would be the highest fps i could operate on that older version card?

What dahua DVR would you recommenced for my application if i do decide to just go this route. Thanks again.
