jdowning 0 Posted September 26, 2011 Hi all, I'm looking for an outdoor dome camera without IR. Some nights there is no light in the sky but we can be sure there'll be at least a bit of artificial light with sensor lights etc. Can anyone tell me what the best one is and why? [edit by mod-store links removed] Thanks all!
Birdman Adam 0 Posted September 26, 2011 Between the three, I'd go with the AVRCD-5351. Its TDN, with the lowest realistic Lux rating (no Sense-up used). It also has the biggest range with the varifocal lens. It is overpriced for its capabilities though. If I had my choice of anything, maybe a Monalisa from CNB. Soundy 1 Posted September 26, 2011 These are VCM-24VFs outside in direct weather (mounted to a brick wall face) with only the parking lot lighting:
jdowning 0 Posted September 26, 2011 Thanks all for your replies! I can't really get CNB cameras though - heard a lot of good about them on the forum but from UK. Any other camera brands you'd recommend for little to no light? Thanks for the pics and samples btw. Jack
