yellow pages will try to get you to advertise....... GIVE that a miss as they no longer print the books.

 

you are best talking to your homewatch areas or even leaflet drops in your area.

ive had a price for 1000 leaflets 150 quid , will this get me work though ?

 

i put an add in the local paper for the last 3 weeks and nothin,

 

is ther much work nockin around ?

hi. with the likes of google and ebay ...... domestic systems are hard to sell.

business cards are always better than leaflets (people keep them)

if you just sell yourself as install only then it will be hard you also need to look at servicing and upgrades.

Business cards tend to be retained whereas flyers get binned almost immediately.

If you aren't installing, get your suit on and visit the upmarket homes in your area and present your business card. Someone is bound to invite you in to talk abut CCTV or Alarms.

If you get one good lead per week it won't be long before your work starts to increase.
