jdowning 0 Posted September 28, 2011 Hi all, I've posted a few threads around here but this is my (hopefully) final thread on which cameras I should choose & which DVR. Note I am from the UK. A nice man emailed me a few days ago when I asked for information on Apollo DVRs and I'd love to go with it but location is a factor Anyway - I want to have a 16 channel DVR. I'm thinking about this DVR. Any opinions? http://www.onlinesecurityproducts.co.uk/apollo-16-channel-digital-recorders/apollo-hd-16-channel-1000gb-cctv-digital-video-recorders-dvr.html I have around 12 cameras to put in. I don't want infrared on any of them. I need cameras which can show a good quality image even with little lighting even though I'll have good enough lighting in some places. At the entrance, I want a camera with a housing... is this camera OK? http://www.onlinesecurityproducts.co.uk/genie-body-cameras/genie-cctv-dnr5352-true-daynight-bodied-camera-dual-voltage.html OR http://www.rfconcepts.co.uk/57D15.pdf << that camera. The first one's lenses are quite expensive, the second one a bit cheaper. Also - want one housed camera in the car park. I'd prefer to have domes in other cases. I heard 'CNB' was good but apparently no where in the UK supplies them. Any other opinions anyone? Otherwise... I think it's the choice from these domes... can anyone suggest any other ones which can be purchased online from the UK? http://www.onlinesecurityproducts.co.uk/genie-vandal-domes/genie-cctv-avrcd-5351-29-10mm-0002lux.html http://www.onlinesecurityproducts.co.uk/informer-vandal-domes/informer-cctv-sony-600tvl-super-hadii-ccd-00003lux-28-12-mp-lens.html Any other good brands which work in low light? Thanks a lot everyone - sorry for bugging. Jack
