help:communcation between american dyncamics and endura

dear all,

hope you are doing good,

I am using endura (pelco) system for my security issues, now I want to use American Dynamics SpeedDome Ultra 8 camera with this endura system via endura encoder,

But its PTZ is not working,

both have the same protocol RS 422,

 

I am facing this problem , do you know what is the solution for it,

The net5301t I assume? Endura can only use the Pelco-P/D RS-422 protocol and coaxitron. The Speeddome Ultra 8 can do Pelco-P RS-422 or coaxitron.

 

First, try disconnecting the RS-422 and using coaxitron as the setting, you shouldn't need any data wires.

 

If that doesn't work, use Pelco-P at 9600 baud as your protocol, and make sure to set switch 3 on the camera to "7".
