ljarrald 0 Posted October 6, 2011 hi, as most of you on here are cctv engineers i guess you must replace systems from time to time. ALL my equipment on my system is second hand and yet it still works perfectly! the way i see it is, i am fine with a 4 year old camera that has been used before, if it has a few scuffs on then so be it. i'd rather pay £30 for something that works just as good as a brand new equivalent that would cost £150+ i need more outdoor dome cameras. ideally auto iris, varifocal, IR (in preferred order). i usually get my stuff from ebay but there is not alot on there at the moment. i need: psu's enclosures cameras pirs IR illuminators other stuff that may be useful. i live in manchester UK so if anyone is in the UK and has some old cameras heading towards the bin, could you PM me please? thanks - luke (oh, and a dvr would be good too. i have one now but the compression is not that great and i can't view over the internet. i am not looking to replace this DVR, just have a backup. it needs to be 16 ch, have alarm ins and outs, have rs485 for ptz's and have audio. 1ch will do but 4ch is better.
