Tom12345 0 Posted October 17, 2011 I have used it briefly for about 2 months. Any questions? how was the reliability and image quality
tangcoral 0 Posted October 17, 2011 I have seen several in use outdoors and after 4-6 years and still going strong. Image quality was excellent on the 5mp. They did have a slower FPS but unless your making movies it doesnt matter all that much. they are a bit bulkier but if your placing them in a outdoor housing unit I guess it wouldnt matter. videotiger 0 Posted October 21, 2011 I have the non-dome Netcam SC 5 MP IR. Image quality is fantastic, and the server functionality is rock-solid. I did a night-time test to see if the dome version might replace the two ten year-old analog day/night cameras I use for the front of my house, and found the performance to be comparable, so when I have the funds, I intend to replace one with the dome SC. videotiger 0 Posted September 6, 2012 I have the non-dome 5 MP hybrid non-H.264. Great image quality and great feature set in the built-in server. The best feature is that it supports Java so you don't need a browser that supports ActiveX to view it. The only caveat is that the auto-iris function seems to not be working well. It could be my lense, though.
