hi KP is just a store ...... you could have any make of dvr or card that they sell under there own name. most of which are avtech.

but you have a card (being pc based) you will need to post screen shots or image of card to see what make it is.

this is probably AVTECH KPD SERIES KP604 or 604F, stand alone dvr, with remote that you can mount into front panel, 8 chanels. i already took another hdd and put it into dvr - dvr made new boot record, i used mbrtool and copy this mbr to that disk that was initialized under windows. put hdd to dvr, and dvr doesnt see any records, but before initializing under windows it also didn't see any records - user lost his records when he turned of dvr while doing backup on usb pendrive. he thought that dvr hang on backup and turned it off. he also changed dvr system time and data. after one or two of this actions records are not seen by dvr, they are on the hdd, because on hex editor i can see some data strings, but it doesn't look like any file header. when dvr makes backup on usb pendrive it makes files with extension : .vse - also creates file player.exe - player of this files (but it doesn't already mean that data on dvr hdd is also in vse format, maybe it some kind of own dvr file system.) stiil we don't know how to recover records
