tomcctv 190 Posted November 11, 2011 Sorry dustmop. can only give you 9 out of 10 for that install. yellow ties would have got you a 10. (just cant get the staff) after you re-wired. Did it work. before and after you seem to have ditched 40 odd connections
fa chris 0 Posted November 11, 2011 Is that an endura system dustmop? How's that working out for you?
jeromephone 6 Posted November 13, 2011 Neat job the customer always has to put the odd patchcord in the middle to mess it up. Just for info did they have you ground all the equipment and cabinets?
dustmop 0 Posted November 14, 2011 Actually, I AM the end customer That random cable was a temporary for the brand new LTO drive I got recently. Also, there's actually a few more connections now than before. I added another 48 port patch panel, and another switch (which was just sitting around collecting dust). No to it being Endura. Pelco 9780 matrix, 2 CCs, hotswitch, and serial port expansion (dear lord was that a lot of cabling!) The fiber panel you can see is for future (fiber to all closets), and the Pelco fiber rack is for exterior cameras. Recording is digital, and takes up many racks.
