max amount of monitors you can have from one out-put

can any one help

 

i am installing a 8 way dvr, it has hdmi and bnc output on the back, i have been informed that i now have to run cabling to 3 t.v.'s in the customers house (cable run no more than 10 mtrs) to each t.v.

 

can i come out of the hdmi in to a 3 way spliter or come out of the bnc and use "T" connectors to split of to the 3 t.v.'s

 

would the be any loss of picture quality trying to feed 3t.v.'s

or would i have to go in to a amplfier first, any thought on this would help

i havent run the cable yet so i do have the option of RG59 or HDMI cable .... kieran

Any HDMI splitter will be active by necessity and should have no problem supporting three outputs. Don't know if it will be cheap though.

 

Composite video, you'll need an active splitter to avoid serious signal loss.

I use a VGA Splitter no problem 40 dollars/ 150.00 retail.

Done this a lot and then give them a wireless mouse to use in each room.
