JVC VR N100U and VN-C205U Cameras

I've got a new N100U and a C205U cameras, that I want to put into service. Yes, they're discontinued, but they're old stock, new in box.

 

I prewired a building with CAT6 only as the system I spec'd for it was POE. Now I'm being asked if I can use this equipment instead.

 

So for the questions:

1. JVC VN-C205U also came out with a version called VN-C205U-POE. Anyone know the specifics of what the difference was? Anyone ever convert the VN-C205U to POE?

 

2. Anyone still using the N100U anywhere, and if so, what cameras have to been able to add to it? Looking for low cost POE dome cameras, this is for a nonprofit organization.

Can't you just use a POE extractor on your existing CAT 6? That should provide you everything you need to get it running.
