jdowning 0 Posted October 30, 2011 Hi all, Was just wondering if you could guide me whether these are OK cameras & housings to buy. I live in the UK so any suggestions on where to get stuff online would be good. All together, I want to get a 16 channel DVR and was hoping this could be OK. At the moment, I'll be getting a few cameras and then expanding but I'll run through kind of what I want. For all dome cameras, I'd be using: (I'll be using around 7 of these). For more prominent locations where I'd like the cameras to be seen, I'll be using: Along with these housings: For a 16 way power box, I'll be using this and be powering the cameras via CAT5 and the housed ones by individual power: Can anyone please please please give any suggestions / tips on what to do! I'm new to CCTV however I believe it's fairly simple and hopefully I can do it myself. Thanks alot everyone! Jack Also - is an extreme load of light required for these cameras?
