Numb-nuts 1 Posted November 3, 2011 Now THAT is serious festival stuff. Are you of the wicker faith? If you lived in my neighborhood, not one of those figures would be left standing within an hour or two of darkness falling. The local children and youths would destroy all your work (shame on them) . I think the video is great, the pictures of your front yard are really fun and it actiully looks like a scene from a Hammer House of Horror movie. I fully take the point you made a bit of fun, the lighter side of CCTV . I really like watching unusual occurrences on the TV "Caught on camera" does anyone also enjoy that? It's not just thieves and criminals but all sorts of amazing events. Yeah I know it's not just CCTV either.
tomcctv 190 Posted November 3, 2011 Thanks! This is what the place looks like from a good digi camera, not cctv! The ghosts are widely available and are called hovering ghost- a favorite of mine too. Cant wait to see your christmas footage. soundy posted some a few years ago. so you have something to work with.

Birdman Adam 0 Posted November 3, 2011 Yea, I've wanted to get one of the Light-O-Rama setups for a while now, but they are pretty expensive! You have to get the controller, software, of course tons of extension cords, lights, etc. Then you have to sit down and program the switching to the songs (unless you prebuy them). I'd bet that setup is in the $2000+ range.

shockwave199 0 Posted November 3, 2011 Never liked the light o' rama style in that vid. I'm old school haunt! All of the good stuff you see there goes out the day of only. It's a huge amount of work getting that all done in just about 6 hours...and then taking a good deal of it down that night. But I love it. For Christmas, I don't do much. Just some lights on the house, nothing big. I prefer halloween- much more theatrical to me. Btw- no, I'm not of the wicker faith. LOL! Just finished the final vid- Vr_oeqSVncI Dan
