Dahua dvr with HDD????

I am looking to buy a dahua dvr from dhgate,and i was curious is it better to buy one with a HDD already installed,or should i just do it myself and save some money?.If so how easy is it to actually install it in the dvr?

Hi birdman for a guy with your knowledge it is easy. but you know what some distributors are like (open the unit voids warranty) even tho they sell with or without and also if you want to add more.

 

when you do order just ask them to send you in writing fitting yourself does not effect your warranty

If you have warranty issues on dealing with one product that you buy overseas. The return shipping costs will cost more than the whole unit on average.

You are better off getting the dvr without a hdd. Merchants on dhgate will not honor any warranties unless you give them repeated business. They just want to make a sale. When that unit is toast get yourself another one. Shipping a dvr back to china will cost you more than a 100 bucks, so think about it before you make your purchase. I know some good local sources to get dahua dvrs.
