danjmah 0 Posted November 4, 2011 I would like to setup a PC based (Intel) DVR system for home security. I was given 2 cards that was used from a former businesses security system. There are no markings on the DVR? card only the AGP video card which is an ATI RV6DE. Some of the chips on the DVR? card are: CONEXANT FUSION 878A and XILINX SPARTAN. Note: not included in the pic is the video connectors that go with the DVR? card. Questions: 1) what recording/monitor software can I use for these cards so I can setup my surveillance system? I currently have two cameras. 2) After installing the cards in the PC (using Windows XP) an alarm from the DVR? card is triggered and stays on until I shutdown. Why is this happening? Thanks.
