Hi. no FPS has nothing to do with resolution. if you bought the card i few years ago i should think you have CIF resolution. you need to be looking for D1 cards Just found it online: D1 Resolution - 704 x 480 CIF Resolution - 352 x 240 QCIF Resolution - 176 x 120 I am thinking of purchasing the card with the link on the previous post because I just changed my camera to a 480TV line res and although the image quality is OK,I am thinking maybe my current DVR card can't fully support it. I purchased my current one on ebay and it works just fine for the purposes of home DVR usage. I am not looking to break the bank, just looking for simple usage at home. When it says "1-4 non-real-time", that means the FPS is split between channels, so each channel may record at only ~7.5FPS (realistically like 3-5FPS).
