SynTech 0 Posted November 10, 2011 Hi all A client asked if I could give him the option of renting a CCTV system. I would appreciate the forums inputs and advice on this matter. Basically I think of charging him for installation and cabling. The he can pay for the cameras, NVR and supporting equipment on a monthly basis. But how do I calculate this amount. Also I thing he should take a maintenance agreement for a set time period. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
t3chsupp0rt 0 Posted November 10, 2011 from situations I have heard renting out CCTV equipment even if its just the DVR, never turn out well. I would suggest payments instead, unless your OK with renting a DVR that could get damaged physically or worse..
SynTech 0 Posted November 10, 2011 Thanks for the reply. That is why the client must take a maintenance agreement with the rental. He should also insure the equipment, and any damage to the equipment will be for his account.
tomcctv 190 Posted November 10, 2011 Hi doing rental never works. you have a big outlay with very slow return on your money. if its a budget problem your customer has take alook at a lease system. your paid quick .. customer does not even need to find the cost of install.
