myplace46 0 Posted November 23, 2011 HI, First let me introduce myself. I'm John, and I'm a newbie where CCTV is concerned. I'm hoping this is the correct place to post question. I have a stand alone DVR that supports PTZ cameras in Pelco-P and Pelco-D mode. I have a TOSHIBA IK-DP30A PTZ CAMERA that supports Pelco-P or D mode. and I want to connect them together. Here's the problem... the owner's manual for my Chinese brand DVR doesn't make a lot of sense to begin with and there isn't any explanation on hooking up the wires. On my DVR, the post for connection to the PTZ are labeled A-B and com ground. the connections on the camera are labeled TX+, TX-, and RX+, RX-. Can anyone tel me how to hook these two beast together?!

Umbru 0 Posted December 14, 2011 If that blows your mind then you should see when you have five or six PTZs all hooked up in serial off that same cable pair
