Hello all.

 

Coudl you help me to find a solution that how to stroage ip camera video?

 

I was going to use the NVR. But the cost is too high for my project. I only use 2-3 ip camears in my project.

 

Do you have othres solution for me? Thanks in advance.

i dont think it is wise to use NVR, cause u just have 3 cameras.

Just use your computer to save video, that's enough.

Axis latest firmware rev for the P1344 etc let's you save to a network location (also a SD card). Pretty cool, works well.

i am wondering if there are 128pcs network cameras, how to store video?

I dont think there are real NVRs in market...

If you are worried about storage on the system get a pci sata card and a hot swappable raid cage and load it up with some 1 or 2tb hard drives storage problem solved.

"Loading it up" with 1TB or 2TB drives is going to be tricky right now... with the flooding in Thailand affecting a good chunk of the world's HDD manufacturing, drives are in short supply and getting very expensive. I just paid $200 for a 1TB WD Caviar Green that barely a month ago was selling for $79.
