Soundy 1 Posted November 26, 2011 You don't usually get into 1/2" sensors until you get to 3MP or higher. 1280x720 *is not* megapixel (actually about 0.9MP). Box designs are not weatherproof without a separate enclosure. WiFi *and* PoE?? You do realize how contradictory that is, don't you?
Ray_Grodno 0 Posted November 26, 2011 Crazyandrew, May be some examples of such cameras possible?

Numb-nuts 1 Posted November 30, 2011 That is not a box or Body camera, that is a common outdoor IR Camera. Box or body is the traditional style of camera which has a separate lens selected according to it's operational requirements and fitted via C or CS mounting thread. It usually has a n outlet to power auto iris lenses.
rory 0 Posted November 30, 2011 3.I don't know how do you call different type of IP camera. I call this model BOX, perhpas I'm wrong. looks like a big bullet camera. box cam comes in a box.

Your opinion is very important to us. 1.the sensor is 1/2.7", not 1/2" So it's actually closer to 1/3". The difference isn't really relevant. 2.We usually call 1280x720 megapixel, even we know 1280x720=921600 Who is "we"? 3.I don't know how do you call different type of IP camera. I call this model BOX, perhpas I'm wrong. That is more commonly known as a "bullet" style. This is what's usually called a "box" or "body" camera (not sure where "body" comes from - bad Engrish maybe): 4.WiFi and POE are not contradictory because we tested them. WiFi is for transporting the signal, POE is for providing power. If you have different opinion plz leave your message. Thank you. If you're providing POWER OVER ETHERNET, then what is the point of using WiFi for the signal, when there's a wired ethernet connection present?

Crazyandrew 0 Posted December 1, 2011 Thank you, Soundy, you are right. People don't use WiFi and POE meanwhile. That model just support WiFi and POE.
