GV800 vs GV compact DVR

Hi all,

Been running a GV804 system for 6 years. Motherboard has gone. Been through two since trying to get it to work. Realised G41 intel chipset not compatible.

 

Looking to build another GV800 PC, but saw the compact DVR advertised. Can anyone advise whether the compact DVR is as feature rich as the GV800. Saves me building a new PC.

 

I Don't use it for anything other than basic recording on a 4 channel system for business.

 

Can anyone compare/contrast the two systems?
