Great CCTV system design!

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I want to build my own CCTV system because here in brazil, every equipment is over priced!

I was searching about CCTV and I found this forum.

Will be very helpfull if someone give me some tips.

I want 8 cameras at my system with an standalone. The cameras positions are chosen, and the cables are easy to instal!

The standalone will be installed safetely at my bedroom, inside the wall. And I want to turn my LCD 42" television as the main monitor.

I liked these cameras. What do yoy think?

The diference at the resolution pays this price?

What about power supplie to the cameras? How its work?

And my bigger doubt. Wich standalone to buy?

Whats better?

I was thinking to buy this one.

One of that cameras, will need to be turned with two, 7" monitors, and the standalone. Maybe I can use some splitter.

One monitor at the kitchen and the other near my barbecue area.

------------------------------

I saw that the standalone have plugs to presence sensors to an alarm.

Is it to plug with some siren? As the others alarms?

------------------------------

Thanks
