steveo44 0 Posted December 2, 2011 Must all DVR's be set up to record for 31 days or does it vary at different sites? Is there a guide for this please?
fa chris 0 Posted December 2, 2011 In the US, typically there are no laws or codes regulating it, it's purely what the customer specifies. 30 days seems to be pretty standard. Customer also specifies the quality, frame rate, etc of the recordings.

Anyone know what the rules are in the UK? hi steveo. it depends on what part of the country you are in. and were you are going to install. i.e pub/bar shop / petrol station. there is no limit to home use. but were they say 31 days ..... this was changed its now 21 to 31 days also in some installs like a pub/bar you need D1 and you must be able to control FPS on each channel.
