Vistaprint Business stationery

Recommended Posts

I just bought some business cards from Vistaprint in the UK.

From the day they comfirmed my order, I was getting huge amounts of email promotions from them.

I mean I don't get that many emails from my best friend.

I hadn't realized that ordering from them was like getting married to them.

I have managed to stop their emails finally but what a damnable cheek, it's as if they believe

my ordering from them once, made me their property to be exploited forever.

If anyone from Vistaprint is reading this, you've actually put me off ever doing business with you in the future

because of the horrendous time I had getting the emails to stop, I'm never going to risk that again.

Thats a shame because the products are rather good.

Yes I did, but frankly that on it's own would have been reasonably acceptable.

There's a Vistaprint Banner above your post now actually which proves they never leave you alone.

I wonder how many would bother if they knew what they were letting themselves in for?

I didn't know they were selling in the USA also.

What attracted me was online design and a price of about £5.00 for 250 but after you've added all the bits it's more like £50.00 for 500 cards but to be fair thats a still a good price. I needed cards urgently as I had been asked for cards several times in the last couple months and I am trying to build my CCTV work up a bit.

My whole experience with them has been ruined by their over zealous marketing efforts.

We get alot of stickers from them but the checkout process is a pain everytime. I am all about cross selling but dang.

haha... I still use those cheap 2 color business cards I got from them and I remember all that stuff I had to go through to get them. Ahh... seems like only yesterday I was starting out on my own and ordering them.

I've been meaning to freshen my cards up... anyone know of a better supplier?

I would now order the full design and print run in a local independant as digital printing has increased the posibilities and driven the price down. You could try and broker a deal with locals businesses as all they want is to keep their machines running day and night. Don't forget to agree a reprint price when you negotiate.

Next time I will be having a full set properly designed letterhead, cards, complement slips, payment advice slips, but for now I just need to recover from my bad experience with Vistaprint.
