Geovision Event Log

Hi All,

 

I've had this message popup twice and just wondering if it's anything to worry about?

 

"The storage for Event Log is low, Event Log will not take any new entries."

 

Not sure what Event Log is used for; I found nothing in the manual.

I believe that is the Windows Event Log. I would go into that and clear it out. You can set the size of the event log and also tell Windows to over-write it when it gets full. Control Panel >Admin Tools > Event Viewer > right click on a log to set properties

I'm not sure why I assumed it was Geovision; probably because it was running at the time.

 

I'll change the settings and see if it helps.
