Keep in mind that when CCTV camera marketing says "night vision", they're NOT talking about the military technology... they're just talking about a camera with built-in IR LEDs. In that context, there really is no difference between "night vision" vs. "IR sensitive" cameras; it's just different marketing terms for the same thing. Yes it not means Termal camera( such as FLIR Corp), whic hfor military segment. And could I add some information for night vision, which not only in IR camera but stra light camera(W/O IR lamp utilized superior low lux lens) in this loop. As you know the IR camera is well applicable in normal space but the star light is good for extreme complex enviroment particularly in multi chaotic lighting source such as pub, bar, night club...
