GV800 how to transfer settings from old to new system

Just transferred a GV800 card and installed software 8.0.1 to a new hard disk.

 

Same h/w and software I was running on old h/disk (which can be accessed but is unstable).

 

I want to transfer the camera & system configuration to the new system (to save me setting it up again). Can anyone advise which files to copy?

Use geovision Fast backup and recovery

or just copy all the geo*.ini files from the windows folder into the windows folder in the new computer.

you may also need to copy some PTZ files if you have settings there (not 100% sure about that). The geo*.ini files like the geomulti normally have the majority of the settings. The password though is located elsewhere.
