Web Service 3.0 on Dahua DVRs?

Hello,

 

I contacted Dahua directly regarding inability to use Firefox (without modification) and Safari (no support far as I can tell) with the Dahua line of DVRs. It was mentioned that Web Service 3.0 (Our DVRs currently have 2.0) will resolve this issue.

 

The representative couldn't provide me any more specific information on when/where to get.

 

Anyone know if this information is accurate and where to get the upgrade?

I don't think it has been released yet on any firmwares. I think it will be early next year from what I have heard. It will be nice when it does.

Firefox is a PITA, use Chrome or Safari.

At this point im willing to say I drop all support for Firefox.

For now... IE Tab for Chrome works perfectly!
